The aim of this workshop is to bring together scientists, engineers, manufacturers and users from all over the world to discuss common theoretical and practical problems, describe scientific and commercial applications and explore avenues for future developments on Electromagnetic Properties of Materials and Dedicated Applications.
The workshop also constitutes a forum for advertising the international research and industrial projects where the specialists from TUIasi collaborate with foreign specialists. For 2026, 3 such new projects will be presented to the public;
- Inkjet-bioAM – Enabling multi-material inkjet printing for improved healthcare in biomedical production in Europe
- NEEDS Repowered – Navigating turbulent waters: Repowering cities in times of crisis
- DaWetRest – Danube Wetlands and flood plains Restoration through systemic, community engaged and sustainable innovative actions
The main topics focus on the industrial applications of materials and systems in a broad frequency domain, from micro-Hz for micro-biology to 100 GHz for communication, satellites, and microwave applications. The workshop presents an interdisciplinary dimension, joining synergistically specialists from materials and technologies, electromagnetic simulation, measurements and applications, medical (fundamental and clinical) areas, sensors and signal processing, food industry, environment etc.
Accordingly, the topics include, but are not limited to:
– Electromagnetic modelling and simulation in electrical and electronic engineering
– Broadband measurements, instrumentation and testing, dielectric and impedance spectroscopy
– Electromagnetic shielding from low dimensions (nano-electronics) to very large dimensions (buildings)
– Electromagnetic applications in biology, food industry, environment and medicine
– Electrical and magnetic therapies, including nano-carriers embedding, cancer and neurology
– Wearable electronics, using bio-nano-immuno-sensors and remote communication
– Microwave technologies, 3D/4D printing technologies
– Reliability and maintenance
– LCA/LCC for materials and systems
– Recyclability and circular economy
For submitting a paper, the authors must use the submission system interface.
