Iasi is a picturesque city with a rich cultural and architectural history. Iasi is situated in the North-East of Romania (400km from Bucharest), in an area of great natural beauty and places of historical interest. In the second half of the 16th century, it became the capital of Moldavia, a province, which, together with Wallachia and Transylvania, would later form the Romanian national state.
